The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. (MAT 1:1)
And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. (MAT 1:16)
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. (MAT 1:18)
Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, (MAT 2:1)
Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. (MAT 3:13)
And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. (MAT 3:15)
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: (MAT 3:16)
Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. (MAT 4:1)
Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. (MAT 4:7)
Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. (MAT 4:10)
Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee; (MAT 4:12)
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (MAT 4:17)
And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. (MAT 4:18)
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. (MAT 4:23)
And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: (MAT 7:28)
And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. (MAT 8:3)
And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. (MAT 8:4)
And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, (MAT 8:5)
And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. (MAT 8:7)
When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. (MAT 8:10)
And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour. (MAT 8:13)
And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever. (MAT 8:14)
Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side. (MAT 8:18)
And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. (MAT 8:20)
But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead. (MAT 8:22)
And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time? (MAT 8:29)
And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts. (MAT 8:34)
And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. (MAT 9:2)
And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? (MAT 9:4)
And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him. (MAT 9:9)
