In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, (MAT 3:1)
And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. (MAT 3:4)
Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. (MAT 3:13)
But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? (MAT 3:14)
Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee; (MAT 4:12)
And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them. (MAT 4:21)
Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not? (MAT 9:14)
Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; (MAT 10:2)
Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, (MAT 11:2)

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. (MAT 11:12)
For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. (MAT 11:13)
For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil. (MAT 11:18)
And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him. (MAT 14:2)
For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife. (MAT 14:3)
For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her. (MAT 14:4)
And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger. (MAT 14:8)
And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison. (MAT 14:10)
And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. (MAT 16:14)
And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, (MAT 17:1)
Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist. (MAT 17:13)
The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him? (MAT 21:25)
But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet. (MAT 21:26)
For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him. (MAT 21:32)
John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. (MAR 1:4)
And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey; (MAR 1:6)
And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. (MAR 1:9)
Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, (MAR 1:14)
