In the bible, Zabdi is the name of the father of Carmi, father of Achan who took forbidden things from Jericho (JOS 7:1), as well as name of son of Shimei [Shema v13] (1CH 8:19) and the Shiphmite in charge of David's vineyard produce (1CH 27:27).
